What our authors say
"I was very impressed with ASN Neuro. Our paper has already been listed on PubMed - less than a week since resubmission. The whole process has been very straightforward, quick and hassle-free. The ASN Neuro team seems highly professional and I would like to thank you especially for your editorial input. The reviewers were constructive and the manuscript is now something I am very proud of."
Emma Wilson Ph.D (Assistant Professor, Division of Biomedical Sciences, University of California)
  NEWS
Neuroscience Peer Review Consortium

ASN NEURO is now a member of the Neuroscience Peer Review Consortium (http://nprc.incf.org). The Consortium is an alliance of neuroscience journals that have agreed to accept manuscript reviews from each other. Its goals are to support efficient and thorough peer review of original research in neuroscience, speed the publication of research reports and reduce the burden on peer reviewers. Therefore if a paper is deemed inappropriate for one of the Consortium member journals, authors can submit their manuscript, together with the reviews, to one of the other member journals including ASN NEURO, for consideration.

Diverse inflammatory responses in transgenic mouse models of Alzheimer's disease and the effect of immunotherapy on these responses
Donna M Wilcock, Qun Zhao, Dave Morgan, Marcia N Gordon, Angela Everhart, Joan G Wilson, Jennifer E Lee and Carol A Colton

The results of the study by Wilcock et al. suggest that an alternative immune response favours retention of amyloid deposits in the brain, and switching away from this state by immunotherapy permits removal of amyloid.
